I put my faith in Christ at age eight at First Baptist Church in Conroe, TX. At age sixteen, on a church choir tour, I realized that God could use me personally in the lives of other people. That realization bloomed into a calling to full time ministry my sophomore year in college.
Following my Bachelors Degree in Business from The University of North Texas, I received a Masters of Theology degree from Dallas Theological Seminary. The road from one degree to the next was long and littered with the evidence of God’s mercy and grace.
I have had the privilege of serving in the full time ministry in Waco, TX. and more recently in Austin, TX. In both places the Lord has shaped my heart through the encouragement of the wonderful people I served. May they each be encouraged all the more.
My wife and I were married in college, December of 1986. We are the proud & biased parents of two wonderful children, one just beginning college and the other starting Jr. High. The third “child” in our family is Chili Bean the wonder dog. She may be the greatest lizard hunter in the world.
My hobbies have wandered all over the map but regularly find their way back to fly fishing. It is a crying shame that the Rocky Mountains don’t reach all the way to San Antonio.
My prayer is that the words I write here will help your faith in Christ thrive. I really hope this helps.
Hi, I hooked into your blog the other from browsing tags and so on. It is very cool what you have to say, and I have been really blessed by your posts. Anyway, I have added to your blog to my own Blogroll, (I hope you don’t mind!). Once again, a cool blog and I will certainly be back in future to read more.
Yours,
N’Mee
I love…, I love…, I love you!
